Forget the Closet and Garage, Start Here
Even with the mild winter we’ve had, your list of spring cleaning chores probably isn’t much shorter than usual. Before the pollen really sets in around the Southeast, it’s time to let Stone Building Services make a walk-around of your property – inside and out – to close the books on what winter weather has left behind, and get your space in shape for spring.
Here are just a few of the trouble spots we’ll eye along the way:
Granite fountains. Most are black granite that has weathered winter and has likely been left dull from the effort. If a fountain has been drained for the winter, the dull look will be even more noticeable. Stone Building Services uses specialty tools and cleaners to restore the stone and bring a shine back to the fountain, just in time for spring.
Pavers. Changes in temperatures can easily unsettle pavers. Especially the super warm and super cold days this past winter. Debris from leaves, acorns, and other organic compounds can leave them stained as well. Our team uses specialty cleaners and compounds, and even high-temperature pressure washing, to get things looking right. And we don’t stop there; we’ll reset any stones that have moved over the season.
Lobbies and building entrances. Winter may seem far gone, but there still may be residues from ice melt and wet weather grime being tracked into your building. These compounds can quickly degrade and damage the stone, so a thorough cleaning is a smart call in order to clear the area and protect it for the coming spring and summer.
Exterior doors and handles. Whether it’s wood or metal, entrance doors typically take a beating from the winter elements. While restoring and protecting wood and metal doors requires different steps, our specialized care can make your entrance look and feel clean and inviting.
And once Stone Building Services handles all of this dirty work, you’ll have plenty of time left over to tackle those closets. You’re on your own with the garage.
