Get into the BOMA Golf Tournament
You know what they say about all work and no play. Well the BOMA Greater Charlotte Golf Tournament is time for a little “play” with some purpose. Celebrating its 22nd year, there’s still time to participate as a team or sponsor in the November 7 event at Pine Island Country Club. But you’d better hurry if you want in on the fun – the deadline for player registration is November 1 and sponsorship deadline is October 31. You can bet Stone Building Services will be there; but more on that in just a bit!
Elizabeth Fulk has been involved in the BOMA Golf Tournament for about five years. She tells us there are any number of reasons players keep coming back year after year.
“It’s a great opportunity to network with others you work with, or want to work with,” Fulk said. “It’s a good opportunity for sponsors to get exposure to commercial property managers through a day of golf and through sponsorships.”
No matter your prowess, you’ll face an extra “challenge” if you’re up to the closest-to-the-pin contest at the hole sponsored by Stone Building Services! Owner and president, Spencer Lueders, will play a single, orange Stone Building Services ball with each foursome. If that orange ball is closest, expect a charity challenge before moving on!
And of course, the BOMA Greater Charlotte Golf Tournament is all in good fun and friendly competition. It’s also a charity fundraiser for Children’s Home Society of North Carolina, which works to promote the right of every child to a permanent, safe, and loving family.
